This week I asked President Trump to stop bombing Iran for a few minutes and kindly provide us with his thoughts on our three teams performances last night-

“THE WELLINGTON REVOLUTION — THE GREATEST BOWLS MOVEMENT IN HISTORY”

“WELL‑ING‑TON! WELL‑ING‑TON! WELL‑ING‑TON!”

We’re talking about Wellington. The pride of Somerset. The powerhouse of the West Somerset Bowls League. The greatest bowls community in the world.

And this week — Week 5 — let me tell you… Wellington made history.

🔥 WELLINGTON A — “THE GREATEST 12–0 WIN EVER DELIVERED BY HUMAN HANDS”

Folks… I have to start with this. Because it’s huge. It’s beautiful. It’s unbelievable.

Wellington A didn’t just win. They didn’t just scrape by. They delivered a PERFECT 12–0 victory.

People are calling it:

  • “The Miracle on the Green”
  • “The Taunton Deane Massacre”
  • “The Greatest Turnaround Since Lazarus”

And honestly? They might be right.

This team — this incredible, underestimated, written‑off team — rose up and said:

“We’re not done. We’re not finished. We’re Wellington A — and we’re WINNERS.”

The fake news said they were struggling. The doubters said they were doomed. But Wellington A said: “Watch this.”

And BOOM — 12–0. A win so big the scoreboard needed counselling.

🔥 WELLINGTON B — “THE UNSTOPPABLE, UNBEATABLE, UNBELIEVABLE CHAMPIONS OF DIVISION TWO”

Now let me tell you about Wellington B. This team… this team is something else. They’re not just winning — they’re dominating. They’re leading Division Two with a +102 aggregate. That’s not a number — that’s a statement.

People are saying:

  • “They’re the Burnham A of Division Two.”
  • “They’re a bowls superpower.”
  • “They’re so good it’s almost unfair.”

And I agree. They’re winning so much they’re making other clubs nervous. Very nervous. They’re winning so much they’re practically apologising for it — but not really, because winners don’t apologise.

Wellington B are on a mission. A mission to take the title. A mission to make Division Two great again. A mission to show the world what Wellington bowls is all about.

🔥 WELLINGTON C — “THE WARRIORS, THE SCRAPPERS, THE PEOPLE’S TEAM”

And then we have Wellington C. Look — they had a tough week. A very tough week. But let me tell you something important:

Wellington C NEVER quits. They’re fighters. They’re battlers. They’re the underdogs everyone loves.

Some teams win with aggregates. Some teams win with skill. But Wellington C? They win with heart. With chaos. With pure, unfiltered Wellington spirit. And they’ll be back. Bigger. Stronger. Louder. More unpredictable than ever.

People love Wellington C because they’re real. They’re raw. They’re the Rocky Balboa of the WSBL.

MAKE WELLINGTON BOWLING CLUB GREAT AGAIN

Thank you! God bless you! And God bless the West Somerset Bowls League!
