Many members will already know that Lisa is currently representing Northern Ireland at the IEPF World Eightball Pool Championship in Morocco. Andy has kindly provided an update on her progress so far.

Lisa’s team have made an outstanding start to the tournament, having won all four of their matches to date. They currently sit second in the table on frame difference, just one point behind first place — a superb position at this stage of the competition.

They have also reached the semi‑finals of the Shootout event, which will be played tomorrow at 1pm against Australia. In addition, the team have four more matches today, so plenty still to play for.

There have been some issues with WiFi and streaming at the venue, which has limited the availability of live coverage. However, this now appears to have been resolved. You can find some of Lisa’s team matches on the Women’s Cuesports NI Facebook page, and the main tournament streaming is available on YouTube via Ultimate Pool Morocco or by searching World Eightball Championships.

We wish Lisa and her teammates the very best as they continue their campaign.
