The Lions marched into Tiverton to face West End and delivered an emphatic 8–0 demolition, brushing aside not only the opposition but also a green invasion by local hooligans, who—judging by their coordination—were clearly more dangerous off the mat than on it. Unfazed, the Lions completed their rout with the calm authority of a team who’ve seen it all before and still fancy a cup of tea and a biscuit afterwards.

Back in Wellington, the Tigers endured a far tougher afternoon, falling 8–0 at home to league leaders Exonia B, who played with the cold efficiency of a team that has absolutely no interest in sharing points with anyone.
